I was diagnosed when i was 7, im 16 now, till about last year it was pretty rough, at some point my weight reached 60 pounds when i should have weighed 110 around 12 years old. it came too a point were i needed surgery (ileostomy), the first few weeks it was hell, but i have had it for about a year now and i am feeling great, put on some wait, but the only down side is that crowns may stunt your growth, + i was taking steroids from 7 to about 14 years of my life im only 5 feet 6 i

i was diagnosed last year and so far ive had 4 surguries, ileostomy. (romved)
plenty of ng tubes for everyone…and a ton of other things that did not go right…im 15 now. i dropped from 145 to 120 in the hospital and now im up to 160! im taller stronger, healthier. if you would like to talk just message me…ill try to help if i can.
Your not going to …
Your not going to find too many people with CD. You will If you land In a hospital & hope you never do. There a Crohn’s & Colitis foundation you may be able to hook up with others to talk to but I would advise you to not worry until you need to worry. It’s said that stress can help bring It on. Not all who have CD get hit hard. Some hardly know they have It though the flip side Is this disease can be life threatening. Good luck.

I was diagnosed when i was 13. I had an abscess and it landed me in the hospital for 40 days with no food. It soon lead to surgery and the had to remove 6 inches of my small intestines and my appendix. I am now 15 and am doing great. ive gained alot of weght and also grew. If any body has any questions about gaining weght or surgery please ask. I am also on asacol.

I’m 5’4 also.& I use to use remicade, in fact I was approved by my insurance for 1.5 million dollars.The last I remember it cost $1200-1500 a pop(every 6-8 weeks)some doctors speak against remicade/ when I had Crohn’s I found it to help some. I’m praying that the Lord will touch you all I know the pain very well. one year I remember being well for one week and that is out of a whole year. You can be delivered from this.John 3:16 & Romans 10:9.

I had Crohn’s disease for 18 years.Iremember a time when I was in the hospital the doctor came in and said if I lost anymore weight I was gonna die. The suffering that comes with this is ten time worse than labor pains. I was told I can never have children and there was no cure. im 14, im 5’10 and about 100 pounds, i was diagnosed about a year ago. the colonoscopy and endoscopy wasnt that bad. i just want to say to ppl that are struggling with it, when you start medication its alot easier, somtimes you forget you have it, but it does come back sometimes =/ before treatment, every thing i did, weather it was eating, moving, sitting down, going to school… i had to think about it. it got in the way of everything, but now it aint so bad. chin up cowboy =) it gets easier.

it gets much much worse, jk jk. Once you get diagnosed things will get better cause there are lots of treatments. If you do have crohn’s its a hard battle be prepared, I wasn’t. But don’t worry about it, you can do anything you have to and thats just life. You can check out my surgery vid if you want to feel better about the idea of surgery, I was extremely against it and now i’m pretty glad i did.

im soo glad theirs more kids that have crohns disease and not just me! its beem horrible im only 12 years old and dropped 16-18 pounds! iahve to get a colonoscopua (great) and people talking about surgies scares me i havent gotten diagnosed with it yet but my docs are really sure i have it! its taking over my life im really scared bout surgeries people are talking about can someone explain more becuz i want to know more!!
